Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz (NOH-vitch; Polish: born November 8 in 1985) is a Canadian actress. Most well-known is her appearances on ABC Family's Kyle XY as Andy Jensen and Syfy's Caprica science fiction drama series as Lacy Rand. Emily Hartwell, a science fiction actress was born Maya Hartwell. She was also a character in the Netflix thriller series You as Sandy. Apanowicz who is Polish-American she attended ninth year in Poland. She was raised there by her uncle. She was a student at Jelenia Gora School. She later studied at Vancouver Film School. She first became interested in acting at the age of 10, after her father introduced her to Pulp Fiction. In 2002 she made her first acting appearances in the TV series Jeremiah. She did a brief appearance on John Doe's TV series. From 2007 until 2009, she was acting in the Kyle XY role of Andy Jensen. In 2008, she played the lead role in the Hallmark Channel original movie Every Second Counts.In 2009, Apanowicz was cast as Lacy Rand, a series regular, in the telenovela Caprica, with Eric Stoltz and Alessandra Torresani. The following year, she was a guest in the show Hellcats. In 2012, she was a guest star in Jane Espenson's second series, the web-based romantic comedy Husbands. In 2013, Apanowicz played Emily in the series Continuum. She also played Samantha in The Green Inferno horror film written by Eli Roth. Though it was made in 2012, The Green Inferno was internationally made available in 2015.In 2017, Apanowicz was cast as Angela in the science-fiction thriller film Volition. The film was released in 2020.In 2019, Apanowicz was cast in the role of Sandy in the second season of the Netflix thriller You.
