Alona Tal

Alona Tal, an Israeli American singer and actress was born on 20th October 1983 in Herzliya. Her career began as a soldier in the Israeli Defense Forces. She made her acting debut in an Israeli film in 2003. Apart from her roles in Israeli films, she recorded numerous tracks with Subliminal. Tal relocated with her sister in New York to take a break from her career. In the hit song "Party to Damascus" she performed in the collaboration with Wyclef Jean from Haiti. American television was also where she made her mark. Her first film role was a recurring one in the show Veronica Mars. Tal eventually was offered an ongoing role in the CBS series. After moving to New York, he appeared in two television shows in Israel. Wyclef Jean recorded a track. Hebrew is her mother tongue. Came in second for the role of Veronica on Veronica Mars (2004).Originally auditioned for Veronica Mars (2004) and was Rob Thomas' second choice for the role of the title. Thomas was so in love with her that he created the regular character Meg Manning just for her. Thomas was a member of The Israel Defense Forces. Her parents are Jewish Her father is Turkish/Jewish , and her mother is Polish/Jewish. The actress plays Adrian Monk's daughter in the show's final episode. Her father is Turkish/Jewish and her mother is Polish/Jewish.
